8-Week: Advanced MG/YA Workshop

In this course, we'll dive deep on the process of receiving and integrating critique to level up our writing. Each session, we'll critique 3 pieces, and each writer will receive two opportunities to submit a piece for critique. Writers can submit the same piece with substantial revisions to get deeper feedback, or submit two different pieces for a fresh review each time. Each week, we'll also take time to talk about a specific aspect of the craft in depth, to deepen our understanding of elements like voice, point of view, chapter structure, and the micro elements of world. This intermediate course is perfect for writers who have taken Jenny's previous courses, those who have chapters they are ready and willing to share for feedback, and those wanting more opportunities to receive direct critique.
