Work at Lighthouse

Lighthouse Writers Workshop is the largest nonprofit literary center in Colorado and the Mountain West, offering hundreds of creative writing classes and events each year for youth and adults in community settings and online. In addition to workshops, Lighthouse supports the literary community through fellowships, tuition assistance, writing studios, regular readings, youth outreach, the Book Project, The Writer's Studio visiting author series, Lit Fest, and a wealth of other resources and events on craft and the writer's life. 

A Mayor's Award for Excellence in the Arts Award winner, Lighthouse Writers Workshop is renowned for the excellence of its programming and its service to the arts community in Denver. Lighthouse staff members enjoy an eclectic work environment, a flexible work schedule, health and vacation benefits, and the company of supportive and artistic colleagues.

Faculty Applications

Young Writers Program: The Young Writers Program is not currently hiring, but we welcome you to fill out this web form to register your interest and tell us a little bit about yourself and why you are interested in working with youth.

Adult Programs: Though we are not currently seeking new instructors, we welcome you to fill out this web form. We also recommend attending events, introducing yourself to our staff, and generally familiarizing yourself with Lighthouse's programs, so we know who you are when a position becomes available.
