Andrew Steiner

Andrew Steiner is a fiction writer from Grand Rapids, Michigan. He received an MFA from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop in 2022. His work has been featured in EPOCH, Grain Magazine, Palooka, Pithead Chapel, and Narrative, where an excerpt from his unpublished novel Let This Remain was a 2022 Fall Story Contest winner. He is represented by Kristi Murray of The Wylie Agency.

Andrew makes his living teaching English and creative writing (with regular bartending stints and a little copywriting thrown in). He’s taught at the University of Iowa, Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand, Juniata College, Grand Valley State University, and Calvin University.
