Akhil Sharma

Akhil Sharma is a professor of creative writing at Duke. His novels include An Obedient Father and Family Life. Among the various prizes his works have won are the International Dublin Literary Award, the Folio Prize, the PEN Hemingway Award. His short stories have appeared in The New Yorker, The Atlantic, and The Paris Review.
