Making the Mountain is a quarterly artist talk in partnership with Lighthouse Writers Workshop. It’s about how and why art gets made in Colorado. Presenters across genres tell the story of how they came to love their medium, explain their process, and show their work. Previous speakers have ranged from a tattoo artist to a poet, and have included Ryan Warner, the host of Colorado Matters, Morgan Levy, the photographer, and Kaitlin Skilken, chef at Vert Kitchen.
