Queer Creatives focuses on queer writers and makers in Colorado. We aim to connect queer creatives with peers because we know that LGBTQ+ lives are enriched and affirmed through collective storymaking and storysharing. No matter how your creativity manifests, no matter how your queerness manifests, this is a space for you! At Lighthouse Writers Workshop, we aim to offer a more demographically complete representation of our writing community, offering a space that celebrates and welcomes the rich diversity of Colorado writers. Queer Creatives is free to attend. High school-aged youth are welcome, too!

Unleash the Archive!: Against Perfectionism, Productivity, and Palatability with Annie Krabbenschmidt
In “Unleash the Archive!” we will do our best to point ourselves away from the parts of us that feel inauthentic, and instead learn to appreciate what we, as our beautiful unique selves, are capable of writing. For marginalized artists, there is so much noise about the value of our art and our very identities that makes believing in our own voices difficult. This workshop will help clear away some of that noise and offer some artist practices that allow us to tap back into our personal wellsprings of story, heart, and beauty.
