One of the best-kept secrets of being a screenwriter is that you’re not always writing screenplays. Half the time you’re pre-writing (developing concepts, outlining, drawing characters, etc.) and pitching your ideas to excite others. This course is designed to help you tackle that unglamorous portion of the job. Writers will discuss and identify their next project to work on, learn how to outline thoroughly, and finally, they'll get an overview on pitching their projects. They should leave with the tools to effectively pre-write so they can nail their screenplay.
