Dan Beachy-Quick

Dan Beachy-Quick is a poet, essayist, and translator. Recent books translated from the ancient Greek include a collection of pre-Socratic philosophy, The Thinking Root, and a collection of Sappho, Wind—Mountain—Oak. His most recent collection of essays if Of Silence and Song, and Arrows his most recent collection of poetry. His work has been supported by the Monfort, Lannan, and Guggenheim Foundations. He teaches at Colorado State University, where he is a University Distinguished Teaching Scholar.
