Kellye Crocker’s debut middle grade novel, Dad’s Girlfriend and Other Anxieties, was a 2023 Colorado Book Award finalist. Kellye is a longtime journalist who also has worked in library youth services and has taught writing at two universities. For several years, she served on the faculty for Lighthouse’s Young Writers Program. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts.
Kellye lives in Denver and is a co-leader of the Colorado Chapter of Authors Against Book Bans. She loves “reality” TV competitions, Black Labs, and funny books that makes her cry.
