Aspen Everett

As a full-time parent first and a writer second, Aspen Everett is haunted by the casualties of modernity. Writing what they call Heathen Mythology, Aspen hopes to return readers to reverence for the More-than-Human by creating new myths of mutualism. Aspen is the author of Tributaries, available from Middle Creek Publishing, and the chair of Geopoetics with Beyond Academia Free Skool. Aspen has taught at the Firehouse Art Center in Longmont, led many generative writing workshops over the years, and has hosted a variety of monthly open mics. They live in Boulder Colorado with their sixteen-year-old and house plants.
