Imran Shah

Imran Shah is a writer, musician, and medical physicist in Denver, Colorado. He is an immigrant from Bangladesh, moving to the US at the age of 18, with nothing more than two suitcases and a handful of traveler’s checks. Since then, he has lived across the US, from the deep south to the west, before finding a home under the watchful eye of the Rocky Mountains. Imran’s passion for writing emerged and expanded as a student at Lighthouse, where writing became more than just a hobby. It became a way of life, and an instrument of self-expression. As an instructor, Imran aspires to give back some of the knowledge, wisdom, and infectious joy of writing, he has received from the Lighthouse community.
