Daliah Singer

Daliah Singer is a freelance journalist based in Denver. Her writing focuses on travel, the outdoors, culture, and health equity, mental health, and social justice issues. Her work has appeared in publications such as Smithsonian, Condé Nast Traveler, The Washington Post, The Guardian, Afar, and 5280, where she remains a contributing writer.
Before setting out on her own, she spent more than seven years as a magazine editor at 5280. Her work as a writer and editor has been recognized by the North American Travel Journalists Association, American Society of Journalists and Authors, City & Regional Magazine Association, Folio:, and the Livingston Awards for Young Journalists. Her magazine feature on the high rate of suicide in the western United States was anthologized in Mile High Stories.
