Writing in Color Fest: Sunday Focus and Flow—A Generative Space

$35.00 Members
$45.00 Non-members

After a morning’s worth of classes at this year’s Writing in Color Fest, you may feel inspired to dive right into your own writing. Or maybe you just want to be in community with other writers of color who are working on their art. Either way, Focus & Flow is the place for you. We’ve set aside this hour for writers who need a little time and accountability to put pen to page or fingers to keyboard. Lighthouse instructor Teré Fowler-Chapman will be available to offer generative prompts and first-blush feedback as needed, and we’ll also have typewriters available to create tangible mementos of this year’s Fest. Stick around afterwards for a casual happy hour before our evening onstage conversation: “The Revolution Will Be Live"—Art as Resistance.

This class is part of the Writing in Color Fest and is open to writers of all genres and creatives who identify as Black, Indigenous, or People of Color (BIPOC+). The goal of the Fest is to provide a space for writers of color to be in community and thrive as they grow their writing skills.
